A bit about...

Jacqueline was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up idolizing Donny Osmond in the VHS production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Upon realizing this, her parents signed her up for soccer immediately. Jacqueline did not have much of an athletic career, as she was quickly nicknamed "smiley" by her soccer coach while other girls were given more aggressive nicknames like "the killer". She took the hint and found her way back to the arts (with the loving support of her parents).

Jacqueline received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Chasing stories that put humanity at the forefront has led to work across musicals, plays and film. She’s passionate about developing new works and has been apart of numerous new adaptations and world premier theatrical productions including Small Town Story (American Theatre Group), The Waiting Room (New York Theatre Festival) and Meet John Doe (San Jose Stage Company). As a writer, she’s driven by finding humor in the mundane day to day. As a director, she prioritizes building connection between character and audience. She studied abroad at Imperial College in London, England and graduated from the Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester in New York City. Jacqueline feels immensely lucky to be able to live in New York City pursuing her dreams.
